Serving our local community is part of who we are as a people and as a Church.
You'll find people who call C3 Church their place of worship, actively involved in our community, either coaching sports, being on and running committees and community groups, buddy programmes, cooking meals, parent helping at school, involved with the arts, and volunteering with youth groups and so much more...
Ps Andrew and Alana Waples are passionate about meeting real needs with real and sustainable solutions. Believing that both personal investment and a Church family response to those needs is of great value; to the individual as a volunteer and to meeting needs in the community.
As a Church we also run a number of events that help bring people together, support families and organisations, both locally and in the Pacific.
Here are some of the ways we help
Kids Night In / Parents Night Off
C3 Queenstown works with our local primary schools to run an affordable night of fun for children to attend, whist offering a night off for parents, who may not normally be able to do so. Many families do not have childcare or support, so this night offers an opportunity for a bit of breathing space, in a well known time-poor schedule, to help strengthen families. These events are run at no cost to the school, in fact, all proceeds go directly to the school as a fundraiser, to relieve pressure from parent volunteers, C3 covers all the costs.
C3 has run these nights with they help of Youth With A Mission for Remarkables Primary School; with Kingsview, Shotover and Queenstown Primary all in the pipeline.
Mainly Music Frankton

Dovetail Meals Queenstown
A community project providing support to Queenstown families with the aim to alleviate practical and emotional stress through providing tasty homemade freezer meals. Anyone with a new baby can be nominated for a meal.
Cook ups are held every few months throughout the year and will be advertised via the Dovetail Facebook page
Baskets of Blessing
Each month C3 Church purchases gifts and food for baskets with specific needs in their nominations, this is so Baskets of Blessing can continue to offer beautifully tailor made baskets for those needing a gift of love.
Ps Alana Waples is also a trustee on the Baskets of Blessing Charitable Trust, which also runs community food project Let's Eat!.
For more information on Basket of Blessing, visit their website.
Throughout the year we put on big Sunday services for our community. These services are events designed specifically for people to bring their friends and families along to introduce them to our C3 Church family. These Sunday Funday Service are on Easter Sunday, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and at Christmas, there's always great food, fun and connection!
On the night of October 31st, C3 Church hosts with a Glow Party for the community as a fun and safe alternative to Halloween.
Other Churches are also welcomed as this has previously been run as a combined effort.
High School & Junior Youth Groups
C3 Queenstown, along with a number of other Churches in the community pool our resources and leaders together to run youth groups for school years 9-13 on Tuesday evenings and school years 6-9 on Friday evenings. These groups offer a wonderful space for young people to build relationships, confidence, develop their own faith in a safe environment with great mentors.
Connection for 20-30 year olds, currently meeting as a dinner party on Wednesday evenings for connection, community and discipleship.

What does the future hold? We have big hearts, big dreams and a big God!
We would love to soon be able to run music, dance and art lessons for children of the Wakatipu. We believe the arts play a special part of the culture in our community and see it as our responsibility to keep that well and alive.
We would love to continue the support we offer by helping with other needs in the community, whether in the form of donating funds to already operating groups, helping with volunteers or starting something new.
